Rampage

7 was killed, 10+ more was injured. Just because a 25 year-old guy who are sick of his own life decided to drive a truck to knock down and stabbing random passerby.

My deepest condolence to the victims of the rampage in Akihabara.

Drift-ing

Briefly googled Odaiba Tokyo Drift, and found out that this is a 2 day drifting competition. More info click here

So, the noise! They say.....
'IF you cant B.e.a.t Them! JOIN THEM!'

The Problem is, I do not know how to join with the price below.

So, I bought the most priceless seats. Right outside my corridor!

When my priceless seats awaits me, I was just on time for the performance. I dunno who was the singer, but the cars were doing some amazing spins. I could imagine I would definitely puke with the revolutions per minute like that.

I also do not know how the competition goes. As far as I observed, each time for Best 16, Best 8, Semi Final and Final, There's a yellow car carrying two skimpy dressed girls with a cardboard.

Each contestant was given a solo performance, then race with another contestant, judges determine who should be eliminated immediately after two races. From best 16 down to best 2.

There was a minor accident where the blue car hit the tiang. His whole bumper flew out from the track.

I S.E.R.I.O.U.S.L.Y worried for the camera man. They were just shooting right in the middle of the track.

I must say, I did enjoyed the competition, and felt a bit regret that I could not be nearer to the action.

While I was self-pathetic-ing, a security guard walked towards me, I thought he gonna warn me not to post these videos on You-tube. Then he told me, Why Arent you down there if you wanna see? TIEC giving free tickets for both days.....! Shit. Tomorrow I have plan..... "#$%&'('&%)#$#"

So, anyone see this, if you want tomorrow final race's ticket, let me know before 11am. One ticket entitled 2 entries.

Petrol

RM2.70 per liter. for undefined amount of time. Possibly in the short term, it will raise again. I am not sure is this a fair price for Oil Producing Country like Malaysia.

With all other countries walking towards prosperity, putting efforts on global warming, green house effects, putting efforts to change the public transport service instead....

Malaysia only solution is to walk backward by raising price and ask the people to change lifestyle by ignoring people's quality of life. For this, I 'salute'. The best government ever.

Dissapointed.

And so it is

Nope, I am not gonna write about Damien Rice. But since it's rainy season here, Damien Rice indeed suits perfectly as lullaby. Of course Jamie Cullum is nice too.... *Out of Topic*

And So It Is.... First birthday in Foreign Country.

Started the day with the routine, Japanese class. Then went for lunch with T.H.E. kaki below. I hate them, because I was not allowed to pay. >_<

Okay. Fine!

Syabu Syabu buffet as dinner. Lee was aiming for the first meat,

Look at him above, Sorry to tell you, You were not the Birthday Boy, Coz I Was the Birthday Gurl that night. So I got the first meat! And get to take picture with it and now blogging about it. Nyek Nyek Nyek...!

The makan was so funny. I was laughing all my way through and was requested politely to 'shut up', it seems that I somehow disturbing their efforts to finish as much as possible within 90 mins. The motto of that night was, No Veggie, No talking, Meat and Eat only! But with me constantly laughing, it bothers them to Focus! Concentrate! 一生懸命! (means desperately work hard)! I am sorry guys....! But it was so funny watching you guys eat.

No, you are not looking at Madonna's Boobs, they were suppose to be my Evil Horns...

After the 90 mins, everyone was so full laying down till we don't even bother talking. Out of nowhere, Mint brought out a cake! and they all sang birthday song. I was not expecting that, used to be and always still a cry baby, I almost burst out in tears.

It was the nicest cake ever. And i meant it, now I understand the reasons why there are people who choose to go for cake-buffet here. It was SO DELICIOUS!
Even the chocolate board used to write your name was delicious. As good as one freaking Cote'dOr dark chocolate. Kim-chan is the address for me by Oo-kun. He was one of the first-est person I met since I was in Japan.

I had the piece with biggest strawberry. I love being birthday gurl! :D

All of us.

We decided to take pictures according to Nationality. So,
The Thais - The 2 guys I first met since the first day in Japan.

The Msians

The Sporean

Refreshing the wonderful dinner and memorable birthday celebration, I cant describe the too much happiness that filled into my tiny mind till it was almost spilled.

I went sleepless thinking back the wonderful moment... ...

.............

Okay, Sleepless maybe because of the coffee! >_<

But seriously, Thank you guys for the wonderful night out. It was one of the sweetest gesture I ever had.

I shall name you Bikey and you shall be mine

I shall name you Bikey and Bikey you shall be mine. *In love*

Bikey cost me 10800 yen (RM350), once again, cheapest in the shop. Bikey size 26, grey in colour. Do not know how to ride a bike?no fret, it comes with a super thick user guide...
It's no easy task to own a bicycle here in Japan. You have to register your bicycle to the police, which cost 500yen one time payment, and you get like car plate thingy sticker on your bike. and NO! Mr. See, they are not gonna summon you for speeding. But you might get the chance of police asking you to 'Turn off engine', 'Car license', 'Alien card'. Just to check bicycle thief.

There's also registeration for dorminatry parking, train station parking....... In Malaysia, WHO THE HELL CARES!

Bikey birthcert and parking ticket. Be warned that you have to keep these as precious as your Alien card.

I believe you havent see metal girrafe before, notice the background? Those are what I call metal girrafe. Biggers one, i call papa mama girrafe, smaller ones are baby girrafes... Happy Family!

Was loitering around Odaiba. Did i also tell you that i saw Fujisan from Odaiba? See red circle. Girrafe was pissed off an annoying Gaijin (Yeap, me!) keeps taking picture of him.

Tomorrow quiz!! Study Study!

Anime Characters Fiesta

Came back from lunch and surprise to find anime characters invades underneath my block.

I was so excited to wanted to take pictures, but no photographing was allowed. I doubted, I went blank! It was such a Fiesta, such a rare occasions to see more than 300 400 cosplay gather together... No Photographing?!!! What the ....!!!

So, I on my camera, pretended that I was shooting the row of flags, or the n-shape building behind, and whoosp, i went dissapeared behind the tree.

Then i went to the other side of the block, walk pass quickly, snap! another shot. I SURVIVED!

I am sorry, this is the only 2 photos I could get. Try to imagine a place infested with all the anime characters, who knows what weapon or power that they might have. Who knows too they might make a circle, hold hands together, chant some curse and combine strength to turn me into a frog or mouse.... If only I could be transparent!! Sigh.

Shinjuku, Kamakura

Being a Tokodai Student is really not an easy deal especially for the first 2 months.

While picnic-ing on the grass, the birds were chirping, the flowers are blooming, the refreshing breeze... We argued. So fierce that we attracts onlooker attention. They are so afraid we might kill each other. Ya know. Scary stuff.

Ernest INSISTED that we should go to his house to play his newly bought Mario Kart Wheel for Wii.

I YELLED back, I will not waste more time hiding indoor on a super fine, not rainy weather.

In the end. I 'sort' of won. :D

Victory Products:
Shinjuku - Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building (45 Floors)
Spot Tokyo Tower.

Takashimaya

Krispy Kream Doughnuts - Look at the queue

KabukiCho (歌舞伎町) - Red Light District of Tokyo, Place where the Yakuza and all the pimps hang out.

Went to Kamakura (鎌倉) the next day. One hour train ride from Odaiba.

Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine (鶴岡八幡宮)

Wedding Ceremony on-going. One morning in this shrine, we witness at least 3 marriages. I do not understand the Japs. They like getting married, but when you see young couples pushing baby stroller, try peeping into the strollers, you will see furry animal nicely dressed instead. Yeap, dogs triumphs lil babies here in Japan.

In addition, please prepare at least 10000 yen (RM324) as 'Ang Pau' if you wanna attend a wedding dinner here. I heard 10000yen, you will still get those cheapskate stares from others. *sweat*

The miracle of this stone is, instead of being smaller resulted from wind erosion, this one grew bigger. Represent good luck, and longevity.
"You talking to me?!"

Nothing beats the happiness of seeing a flying pig

Compare to the train in Tokyo, which speeds like hell. This train is totally the contrast, slow, old....ZzzzZzz. 6 stations felt like 120 stations.
Kotokuin Temple (The Great Buddha) (高徳院)

Buddha miniature. I was doubting from which part I should start biting, the head, or the butt? In the end, to show respect, I shallow the whole thing at once.

Also tried the Omikuji (御神籤), where you pray pray and a stick drop, the stick represent your destiny. If you get bad luck, instead of waste it, you tie the paper on the rack above, hoping bad time will be over. I got to bring the paper home, although written inside that my bf is gonna run away.

Today, I ffk Yap and Kenny to go to Yokohama China town (横浜.中華街). I am sorry, I have to treat my swollen legs. I am not trying to fret here, but seriously too much walking. -_-" Next time k?
